Description

I would like to let everyone know that an unleashed Chihuahua bit my dog while I was walking him this morning. A young male came running from a home on the right side of Monument, one building away from Roseneath Road heading West. He grabbed the dog and when I asked if he lived in the home he told me he was working on the home. I did ask if the dog had his shots and he offered to show me the dogs tags. When I came back down Monument I crossed over to the other side when I got to the block where this occurred and the young man was sitting on the front steps of this home. I could not really check my dog until I got him home and only see where it looks like hair was pulled out on his right hind leg and that is where the dog was. It does not appear that he broke the skin. The dog owner was very, very lucky this time. Hopefully he will keep his dog on a leash and will realize the consequences if he chooses to not do so. The dog is aggressive and will bite.
