I have serious concerns and questions regarding the Authority of an ANC commissioner in ward 5 who purports herself to be a shop steward and working for the DC Department of Health Care Finance in the Division of Program Integrity but lacks every ounce of integrity. How can an ANC commissioner park their car in front of a meter all day with a placard in the car window stating "Official Business" yet the business being handled is not ANC neighborhood issues, its going to an official job. A job where Regina James terrorizes most employees she comes in contact with. She does not have a staff to supervise but she is the office watch dog that she monitors other employees creating a hostile work environment yet fails to do her job. Did you know that while Department of Health Care Finance was battling the home health agencies in court Ms. James failed to mail notices to the providers in a timely manner which resulted in costing the agency millions due in part to Home Health Agencies winning their appeals and flat out told her supervisor that she refused to mail the letters after repeated direction. Yet, this woman is an ANC commissioner abusing her privilege by failing to pay the meter and lying that she is on official business when she is not. She cannot be trusted at all. Check any day around judiciary square around the hours of 6:30am and 5pm and you will find Ms. James' car parked on the street.
