It's up and down Ridgewick in front of all if the condo complexes through at least 1636.

The problem is the PARENTS , WHERE ARE THEY? AND WHY ARE THEIR KIDS SO AGRESSIVE AND IGNORANT TO OTHERS? THE MAYOR WILL CONCEIVE THAT THE STREET IS FULL OF LOW LIFE PEOPLE, AND ATTACK THE STREET AS RUFFNER DID WITH THE GARBAGE BINS....... BEFORE YOU MAKE A DEMISE OF PEOPLE , PLEASE SEPERATE THE GOOD FROM THE BAD...WE ARE TIRED OF BEING VICTIMS AS WELL AS YOU ARE TIRED OF THE MESS,,,,,,,,,WORK WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE...... BE FAIR, SO WHEN YOU DRIVE DOWN THE STREET DON'T LOOK TO PUNISH THE INNOCENT, GET THE FACTS FIRST , THANK YOU.

I think some of the problems are of the parents , some of are the children , but also remember the person who rents to them has a big stake in what is going on. Alot of the ownwers buy these places for income , profit , and care not about the goings on. Most of the owners do not live in the city , out of sight and mind. They might show up to collect rent and are gone . I think the city should notify the owners , where ever they are, of any type of violation on there property being reported to police, this way they become in mind and in sight to the situation.....................

Enough - that is a great idea! If you have a renter in Wickliffe that has a violation against them , the Owner should be notified and have some type of recourse with the city, so they know a concern for future violations could lead to action by the city , Enough run for a seat in Wickliffe! , or the seats there now take a notice, Thank You.

Had to call the police on a group of kids in this area and the response from the officer was "oh yeah I know those kids" Landlords please check police reports on your properties and get rid of trouble makers!

I was visiting that area last week - - those'kids' are in need of a weekend in jail !

There are alot of good family quality people on this street , BUT the bad quality seems to be renters, more often. The here today bolt out at night type. Parents are gamers , drinkers , less reality type. Their kids behavior reflects this --- very strongly ! A father and son '' Dude'' type. can't tell them apart ......... sorry to say but that is what we have here, very interesting to hear them ''talk'' truely the parents they follow!

owners - watch your swill

Owners should pay fines for allowing this to sink into our streets-- where are they? - florida? concord? euclid? they are not around here - they would be yelled at!

To Faces, What would you like to yell? Are you jealous that you don't own this property? Or you do own but didn't realize there were apartments near by? Remember, the owners, many of them DO live there, have invested in the community. No one wnat's to see property values decline. Wickliffe is a desirable community due in large part to the excellent school system, city services and WPD. You'll have some bad everywhere. If you see suspisious activity, report it. The owners try to get the best tentants possible. That's usually easy because many people want to live here. Be proud of Wickliffe. A great city.

5-0 / ''OWNERS'' that ''DO'' live there ? you mean they are the problem or they are not the problem? what ''DO'' the owners invest in? they invest in their own property , home, family.......it's the ones who invest in their own profit......''it's called renting'' that have no homeship in their investment ,only to keep it ''occupied'' ..... and invest in their bank accounts....... maybe your just confused today?

5-0 definately does not live in this area of Wickliffe. Most of these tenants cannot possibly be the best possible and if they are that is actually kind of scary. We've had at least 3 drug overdoses on the street this year alone and several people have gone back to jail since moving in, meaning they were in jail at some point before applying to rent in our area.. If the owners are actually checking potential tenant backgrounds they would see these records and might think twice about who they rent to.

Yes the police are wonderful in our area, they always come within minutes of being called which is a great thing. The down side is we have to keep calling them on the same people! We need a nuisance law like Euclid. If the police are called too many times for nuisance complaints the OWNERs get fined. Come on people please run a background check on your potential renters and maybe stop by your property once in a while.

Thank you for your comment , I agree fully with your ideas. This will help the situation . Hopefully city hall will read these concerns and realize that there are people , good people on that street that want a better life. Not people who want to be concluded ''all'' are bad on that street and should suffer with the guilty. Please make the right decisions with the helpful , decent people, go after the bad, please. TY

I agree with the people who are trying to get this situation right. Not only is it in Wickliffe, but through out lake county. Hoping that Wickliffe would start requirements for renting property, to have a high standard and commitment for it's residences. After all Wickliffe is reguarded as the ''Gateway to Lake County'' . Seems like that claim should be taken seriously and be put to work -- AS a standard for the whole county - show us.
