Description

The BrewCycle that is peddling around to bars is also slowly peddling past residences on 2nd St. The BrewCycle is carries 12-14 obviously intoxicated passengers that scream,yell, hoot, and carry on extremely loudly as the very slowly pass these residences. Why do I have to put up with this disturbance? How is the business legal? The regular street noise is bad enough in the summer now we have to put up with this?

I never even heard of the brewcycle until you posted this. But according to their website it is a tour of bars and pubs that the riders pay for (25 bucks a person) therefore it is perfectly legal. As I do not live in an area that has a lot of bars it doesn't bother me at all. However, I can understand that livning on 2nd you must see it often and hear them coming.

I wrote City Council about this mess several times. It looks like it's here to stay. Well, until they get nailed by a car while they (the BrewCycle) run red lights, as they often do. Having said that, the more people that make a real effort to bring the issue to light, the better chance we have at getting rid of it.

I couldn't agree more, as a downtown resident the brewcycle is extremely obnoxious and rude. Everytime they drive by all the 'guests' are screaming and shouting, it practically wakes me up. So much for leaving my windows open this time of year.
