Any suggestions for a tool to cut these down? I think the neighborhood at large should start an initiative to curb this nonsense.

There is a pair on the 1800 block of Carpenter as well. But there is a legitimate drug house on the corner of 19th and Carpenter which is what these shoes are for I think.

That's what the old meaning was, but I think now in many cases it's just kids throwing them up there. And you'd think the location of the drugs would be spread by word-of-mouth rather than a pair of shoes on a wire. Or maybe the shoes are for visiting/on holiday drug users who aren't familiar with the area. Finally, if it's a known drug house in a neighborhood where taxes went up 300% in some cases, maybe the cops should do something about it.

Cops won't do anything, I've called them several times. Its PHA housing, PHA housing cops are responsible. They don't help either.
