The location info incorrectly shows even numbered addresses. Even numbers are on the north side of the street. This bench actually stands on the south side of the street, directly across from the Baptist Student Center at 2702. There used to be a bus shelter at this bench location a few years ago. It's hard to tell whether the bench now stands in the right-of-way for the street (City of Raleigh responsibility) or on NCSU property. Maybe the old bus shelter was on an easement granted by NCSU or something. I suggest you contact somebody in the real estate office of NCSU and ask them to assess whether it's on their property or not. It might be NCSU's responsibility at this point.
