In a move that can only be described as classic, incompetent New Haven, I came home today to discover a blue toter had been deposited in my front yard. Now that I have two blue toters and still no brown toter, if I put a big sign on this toter that says "TRASH," do you think my trash will get picked up on Friday? Of course not. Seriously DPW, come get this toter and deliver the correct one. How hard is it to fulfill such a simple request?? It's been 99 days since I requested a brown toter for my trash; 99 days!

This a big problem with the city, it takes so long to get something done.

It's been 105 days now and I still don't have a trash toter, only the (now) two blue toters. Does this mean I've been bumped to the back of the list now? DPW, are you ever going to respond to this issue, or keep ignoring it?

Sorry. We've been testing "Bins" on the site and unfortunately your request was lost in translation. You were on the list for one trash toter so not sure what happened. We'll check and get you the trash plus pick up the recycling toters if not needed.

Thank you for finally responding. Someone from DPW just dropped off a trash toter and picked up the extra recycling bin. Please, PLEASE get your system worked out so that this 100+ day wait is rectified; it's very unacceptable. Thanks.

Glad it worked out. We had to order more trash toters in Spring so we had a wait list which you too were on since May. We are working on delivery off the wait list. We hope adding this request to See Click Fix as a service category will help speed up the process after we research the address' original toter serial number(s) and, if stolen, have Police report to confirm.
