I wait at this light every morning at this time. The issue is that the traffic coming from the SunTrust (east to west) side of the intersection has an extremely long green in the early hours. The traffic coming from the Extended Stay (west to east) side of the intersection backs up incredibly far. The light is green independently for the SunTrust side of the intersection and for the opposite side (the Extended Stay). It's ridiculous to have 15 cars waiting to cross Alpharetta Hwy at 6 am, but this does happen. The east side of the intersection should have a greatly reduced time for the green light. I've also seen the light cycle so that the west side of the intersection green light is skipped while the east side turns green twice in a single light cycle. This has only been a problem in the last six weeks or so. In the early morning, the light should give the west to east side of the intersection a longer green and reduce the green for the east to west side.
