I am curious why a vandalism issue at the cemetery takes so long to deal with compared to the two I submitted on Sunday that were both on North Avenue that were both taken care of within 24 hours.
Thanks for your great work. I am amazed by how fast this system works. This isn't a complaint. I am just curious.

There are a few reasons there are different response times for signs vs. headstones. Signs are cleaned with a chemical that does not work well on stone. The signs are in the immediate control of the city, so it would not be a major problem if the graffiti removal process damaged the sign. We treat headstones with greater respect because of what they represent, and they are not ours. The Graffiti removal specialist tried a few materials on the headstone but they were not effective. We went there yesterday together to evaluate what would be needed to clean it. There are no facilities in the immediate area to allow the use of a pressure washer so additional help will be needed for this specific issue.
Thanks for noticing the amazing responses on the system. Thanks for asking too!
