I reported this over a year ago - the top layer is in the water and the bottom ones are way over from their orginial placement which is back along the ridge - 6 feet maybe - the plants are laid down from the flow of the water. Why have y'all not done anything - no excuses for this to have happened. Tax payer money will now have to pay twice because no one thought it was important. I can only imagine the destruction to our beautiful park to get equipment in to fix this. Hopefully it will be minimal.
This issue is being resolved collaboratively with City of Brookhaven Parks and Recreation and Public Works staff. The retaining wall is independent of the trail foot bridge not resulting in a safety concern and will not need to be taken out of service.
The Bridge is not in danger at this time due to one of the blocks being at the edge of the bridge. When y'all do go down and look at it, take note that of the blocks was moved all the way across the width of the stream - to move a block of this size and weight so far away takes great force.
If it gets worse before the repairs can get started, we regular walkers will keep an eye on it as y'all cannot check it everyday.
This section of the trail will be closed off with tree-save fence starting Wednesday the 13th and will continue to be closed for 10 days afterwards. This is for pedestrian safety as these concrete barriers are removed by the City contractors.

I am very disappointed.

I received notification the trail would be closed. The name of the park is spelled incorrectly (again).
