Description
How come the City extended restricted parking (permit required) west along 106 Avenue towards 100 street adjacent to the Lutheran Church and Apartment building? There never was any problem with parking there before as the residents along the Avenue don't even park there regularly. Please remove the parking restriction in that section of 106 Avenue.
Further more, if the intent was to restrict parking, then your sign along 106 Avenue by the park/green space is wrong! As a City Tax Payer, I object to not being able to park adjacent to the green space and enjoy the use of this park as it is "reserved" for residents only!!!! Do they pay an extra tax to have this park limited to "walk ins" during daytime?
I would like to have restricted parking on my street west of 100 Street because whenever there is a funeral at Oliver's, all the streets in my neighbourhood are plugged with people parking for Oliver's funeral home.
Please remove the parking restrictions on 106 Avenue and put back what was there before.

Hi Henry,
This area was recently made a residential parking permit area by City Council. This change was implemented in response to resident concerns that were raised to Council about parking overflowing from the QEII hospital onto nearby residential streets. The parking restrictions are in effect Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Any additions or deletions of the permit parking area will need to be directed by Council.
If you wish to discuss the matter further please contact Chris Manuel with Enforcement Services at 780-830-5790.
