Why is the street closed....we have not been given any information as to what is going on, how long it will take. Nor do we have a "Thru Traffic" sign so that local residents can drive safely & conviently to/from our homes. Traffic is dangerously congested. Drivers are racing through our streets - where small young children are not acustom to the speed of drivers who are lost, turned around in this maze of confusion. Please someone at least have the decency to consider that thier are families who pay taxes to live in a safe, informed city neighborhood. Our children will be returning to school very shortly (9/8/11) & we would appreciate knowing what all this inconvenience is for & for how long....Thanks Somebody
