Unfortunatly it is not the road, it is the people that are not paying attention while driving. Wake up people before you kill someone. Lets keep this a safe and wonderful place to be.

This issue is worse than ever but was never even reviewed by Escambia County Officials, really sad and yes it is the road. It's designed in a way to induce acceleration exactly at the wrong location in a rising embankment with a suggested slower speed rather than a mandatory one. A significant number of vehicles daily run over the line and into the narrow shoulder pathway almost killing or injuring walkers. I get almost hit several times a week, every week, my mother was in a wheel chair and they were coming head on over the line on the shoulder and almost killed her. She refused to let us push her on another Sunday stroll in her wheel chair. This issue has been going on for years for which we have complained for years further demonstrates that regardless of how small an issue we have on Perdido Key, our tax dollars are shifted to other areas of the county without addressing or responding to our safety needs or making small inexpensive changes that could improve our quality of life.
