I don't think the woman is homeless. She is there every day for more than 8 hours. I have also seen her in the Dimond District but she seems to have found her best opportunity in Easy Oakland.
She just stands there and listens to her radio.

The man on the other hand is loud and a bit frightening because of his rants.

Both probably need social services which seem to be hard to get connected with.

Is there anything that we, as neighbors, can do to help these less fortunate members of our community?

That's a good point. I really only listed this to determine if SeeClickFix was an appropriate venue for this.

I recently left a message for an agency that serves the city's homeless about both individuals, requesting that they send a homeless outreach team (or similar) for support. I wish I knew what else to do.
