Please advise when you will be removing the trash. I was disappointed when I came home from work this evening and found the trash still sitting on my front lawn. It is important that in this warm and humid weather, this trash is removed ASAP! Please let me know when you will be taking care of this. I own and live in a multi family home and cannot leave trash hanging around.

Diane, I too have received the message, "We received your issue and will address it as soon as we can." In my experience (twice) that meant they were not coming back until the next week. I called Public Works several times a day for several days and one of the people who answers the calls (they are great by the way) admitted that they can only deliver the message, and it is up to the supervisor to send the truck back to the Cove. The second time I contacted Rob Smuts who got right on it and ordered an immediate pickup the next day. I do not know who you call in City Hall now, but you will have to be aggressive unless you want to wait until next week.

Hello, I am extremely upset as when I came home from work, NO-ONE from Public Works came to my home to remove the trash. Yet you indicated someone came and picked everything up early this a.m. Well I don't know what address you went to, but again....my address is 17 Arden St.,New Haven, CT 06512. The trash is in a brown bin right in front of my house. PLEASE pick this up Tuesday morning and let me know once this has been taken care of. There is an awful odor and bugs flying around the bin. I would appreciate you handling this ASAP!!

but we haven't received confirmation and probably won't till later.

We are closing older Trash and Recycling issues from 2011-2015 in order to focus on current Trash and Recycling issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our regularly scheduled collection but were never closed. If your Trash and Recycling issue remains please open a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks.
