The new lights on MacArthur are the result of a 2-3 year effort to get new lighting for the business corridor on MacArthur Avenue. The Bellevue merchants association and councilman Hilbert were instrumental in getting this accomplished.
This was something that had to be added to the general budget to accomplish

Props to the Merchants Assoc, Mr. Hilbert and all concerned regarding the new lights on MacArthur - they were activated last night, and are a big improvement over the conventional cobra-heads.
