Description
The path on E Ponce de Leon from Milam Circle to I285 is extremely narrow. Naturally there is no sidewalk. For a year I have made numerous calls to 311 and Damen Johnson at Dekalb County Public Works without success. I am not requesting a sidewalk be installed, just grading to widen the dirt path to allow citizens a safe passage. By the way, I have confirmed that this road is the responsibility of DeKalb & not Georgia.

Unfortunately, all my phone calls and postings has produced no results. Months ago a supervisor from Roads & Drainag called me and informed me he would get back to me after investigating. I never heard back from him or anyone else.
FYI....he was not hopeful that there were funds to resolve the issue

Thank you for contacting the call center, your request has been submitted over to the Roads and Drainage for the request for the road to be widened or for a sidewalk to be installed. The Roads and Drainage Traffic Engineering department will send an inspector our to do an evaluation of the area and they will proceed accordingly. It would have been great for you to have left your number and they would have contacted you regarding your request. In the future please make sure you leave your complete information including your telephone number.
Have a great day and thank you
for contacting Dekalb County's

Never heard a peep from anyone within DeKalb Government. Guess I'll go to the press (AJC & TV) to see if I can get some results.
Would be nice if at least someone at Roads & Drainage would meet with me to look at the situation to determine how the county and us local residents can work together to resolve this horrible situation. I'm perplexed as to why I am being ignored.

Here's the Google Street View which was taken October 2017. It's kind of hard to tell if anything has changed since this was reported in 2011
