I used the Farmington Ave intersection as an example but driving around New Britain the other day, I was able to count on one hand(and have fingers left over) the intersections in which the roads were properly marked and painted. Also, many of the roads that were repaved over a year ago have no centerlines painted on them. I know the times are tough and the city budget is tight but I think these are safety issues that should be addressed by the Mayor and the city officials.
