Description
The street lights that were supposed to have been installed atop the new traffic light poles have yet to be installed. This project has been done for quite some time, it would be nice to see it 100% completed.

Here is an example of what I noted above...This is the intersection at Main & 14th. So, why was the arm installed in the first place?
7/17/2014 - Thanks so much for your communication with Richmond City Government online. This location is reported by Richmond Street Light Mgmt Team as a traffic pole with no light and they also noted there are no plans to install a pole light on the traffic pole. If you need to follow through on this matter you may call Street Light Mgmt directly at 646-8541

I have requested the city complete this job on multiple occasions over the past year with no success. The 4 missing lights are clearly shown on the bid docs, along with the removal of 2 wooden poles, including the beat-up leaning pole in the Laburnum median. There are many intersections like this one in the city where the light arms are installed yet the fixtures are missing. When I persist, I am told there are no plans to install the lights.
So, how much are the taxpayers spending on these contracts that are never completed? Since VDOT provides at least 80% of the funds for these signal jobs, are they aware that the work is incomplete? I think I'll discuss it soon with a TV reporter that I know.
