Description
The corner in front of Newks need a stop sign. Just having it painted on the street is not working. I have almost been run over multiple times because no one pays attention to the stop painted on the pavement.

I will take a look at this situation. However, this is a private parking lot so the best I will be able to do is forward your concern to the shopping center manager.
FYI, typically, for parking lots, STOP signs are used at intersections along the main driveways, and the word STOP is used at the ends of parking aisles where they intersect with the main drives.

I verified that all stop signs are in place. There is no stop sign at the corner of Poplar Rd for westbound traffic approaching E Newnan Rd. There is a warning sign below the stop sign for eastbound traffic on MLK approaching E Newnan Rd that states "oncoming traffic does not stop". Similarly, for southbound traffic on E Newnan Rd approaching MLK/ Poplar Rd, a warning below the stop sign states "traffic from the left does not stop". FYI: we have a roundabout intersection improvement under design for this intersection that we call "5 Points" and we could be in construction in a few months.
Thanks for your comment.
