Only the courts can order a full disclosure, and that would have to be after some sort of audit and fraud investigation.

all you have to do is go to city hall and request the statements. they are public documents. you may have to pay a fee for them.

it is public record, all the way from wages to keeping the lights on.

Yes when the rich family's in town want something it happens !! But they should have thought ahead to operating costs and lighting etc.... This mayor should be tossed out of office for gross misspending of tax payees dollars.

You, as an individual, can't get full disclosure of the Rawlinson Centre costs -- not without a lot of work, at least. The city gives money to the Arts Board, which then passes it on to the governing committee of the Rawlinson Centre. The Arts Board is supposed to report its financials annually to council, but even councillors can't get this. The Rawlinson Centre committee, which does the real spending, doesn't have to report to anyone. So you could look at the city records and see how much money is given to the arts board, but that's hardly the whole picture. Plus, utilities and other costs are rolled in with other Community Services/facilities. Basically, they don't want people to know what it costs and the clever ones who set this up have made it almost impossible for anyone to figure out.
