Not only were signs posted a few days ago, I got a robocall and reminder text yesterday.

Our Street Sweeping schedule is posted on city website. Click on this link and you can download the schedule from web http://cityofnewhaven.com/PublicWorks/sweep/index.asp Also on that Street Sweeping page, you'll notice residents can opt in to the Emergency Notification System and get phone calls reminding them that they need to move their cars for street sweeping. We try to post the day before but the schedule and Emergency Notification is also a great reminder for residents.

I live on Bishop between Orange and State and signs have been up for several days. I also got the text last night

I too live on Bishop, and got my car towed. I was in and out using my car all weekend and never saw a sign. This is the first time in about six years this has happened. It is entirely possible that the people that hung the signs did not post any signs within 50ft in each direction of my house, otherwise I would have most certainly seen them. To "the whiners are out" - you might be more effective in your criticism if you were not so absurd. I find your response to the situation both infantile and unacceptable. Please limit yourself to helpful and useful responses in these situations or none at all if you cannot handle those parameters.
