Catskill Bagels is at 1416 Cortelyou Road, Brooklyn.
The put up their "Grade Pending" sign, but they put it low in the window behind a bench where customers sit, so no one can see it.

Catskills Bagels was informed again in December 2011 that they are in violation of Health Department requirements by not posting their letter grade in their window for public viewing. They agreed to post the letter grade as required on December 14, 2011. We will monitor the situation and if it is not posted immediately, the Department of Health will again be notified.

Interestingly, they still have no health grade in their window. Of further interest, almost no restaurant on that stretch of block does, not the Chinese place, not Kumo Sushi. This was as of a couple days ago.

Kumo Sushi's grade was obscured by a decorative fan. They will post it in a more visible location today. (They received an A.) If you would like CB14 to contact any other businesses for proper posting, please submit the business names and we will contact them. (r.e. Catskill Bagels - their grade is technically still pending according to the Dept. of Health, so it may be a while before they receive their grade and are able to post it.)
