Description

From time to time, people seem to forget that we pay to have our garbage picked up at our homes. When this happens people dump their garbage on the north side of the train tressle/bridge. Attached is one picture of a pile of someones' garbage that could have very easily been thrown out with their normal trash. Maybe it's laziness, maybe it's a case(s) of people just not knowing what they could throw out. Maybe it's just a lack of consideration for other people. It could also be an issue where people think that they don't live there and they don't have to drive past there everyday so, they just don't care. Regardless of the reasons, this needs to be cleaned up. Numerous calls have been made to the Town to collect to piles and nothing has been done. There are several piles all around the area not to mention piles in the woods along the side of the road. Piles of garbage bags, freshly cut tree branches and regular garbage. I'm sure that if a Town board member or county legislator lived in the area, this would have been addressed immediately. Brookhaven, please clean up this area!!!
