For some reason, New Cumberland has chosen to leave 16th Street partially paved for almost 4 years now. They claim it's up to the water company to decide which streets get paved. What kind of sense does that make?

Well, I saw something VERY interesting this week. In the 500 block, there lives a member of the Boro Council who has one of the biggest houses on the street. This week, a truck from the "New Cumberland Highway Dept" pulled up and spent the day FIXING HIS CURBS!!!
How much you want to bet he doesn't get billed for it, either, considering the rest of us have to PAY someone to do that for us when the Boro tells us to do it??
I'm pretty outraged, but I'm glad I took plenty of photos! Maybe whoever runs against him next would like them???
WHY WON'T THEY FINISH OUR STREET??? I refuse to support any of the corrupt members of the council OR Mayor Landis ever again after the way they've treated us.
