The Fountain Street entrance enhances the problem because there is heavy traffic to and from Orange, Woodbridge, Bethany and Ansonia to and from City. Fountain Terrace has become a shortcut.

Road paved eliminating pot holes, but speeding continues

Nothing done! to eliminate the speeding.

Nothing announced to investigate .this matter

Potholes filled, but traffic on Fountain St. and Fountain Terrace much heavier and speeding continues on both routes. There has been no control.

The City does not seem to see this as significant enough to consider.

Multiple car accident at bottom of botton of Fountain St. hill last weekend highliting this speedway issue which has been ignored by New Haven departments to this date.

No, it has not been fixed, and it's getting worse. No department or individual has paid attention to it.

Alderman says he will schedule a meeting with city officials and complaining residents to dicuss our concerns. We are still waiting

Alderman has not scheduled the meeting he offered.

Alderman suggested that we schedule a meeting in one of our houses, but a number of us feel that he, as our alderman, should arrange it as he does for neighborhood meetings.

It's an accident waiting to happen

Speeding worse than ever and nothing done about it!

Will this problem ever be corrected?!. Mention given to new alderman's representative at polling place. Now that schools are open, traffic increased, especially for Hopkins. Speeding continues.

Lawncrest Rd. has just had speed bumps installed while Fountain Terrace remains ignored by the City. Another issue and concern centers around the lack of sidewalks on Fountain Terrace, a narrow street, which adds to the seriousness of the speeding issue.

how does one get speed bumps installed? People speed down my road in excess of 60MPH, has been reported and you know, I have never seen any police activity to help stop them......ever.

Speed meter set up at bottom of Fountain Terrace hill into Curtis Drive does not resove the issue because the speeding occurs on Fountain Terrace itself!

Speeding continues, particularly, Hopkins students and staff using Fountain Terr. as shortcut. Perhaps new alderman will look into it. ClickFix continues to post this as, West Haven Neighborhood which is in error; it's Westville!

Issue remains unresolved, but Speed Bumps put on Lawncrest Rd. in no time.

The alderman sponsored a meeting on our street in 2017 at which the Director of Streets and Parking was told our concerns. Finally, one speed bump was installed which only slows cars at that spot where we needed more. Our street extends onto Curtis Dr. by a very steep hill, and there are SEVERAL speed bumps on Curtis Dr. In the meantime, cars coming off Fountain St. speed onto Fountain Terrace to the bump and those coming to it from Curtis, resume their speed.
So, there is still a problem, traffic has increased and we do not have curbs.
