This issue has been reported to the Department of Public Works Bureau of Street Environmental Services via SF311 under service request numbers 3786740 & 3786742. The Department of Public Works will respond to clean-up oil within 8 hours and contact owner of property within 3 business days. The Non-Emergency Police Dispatch has also been informed of this property and will inspect the property within 24 hours.

Great.Just hope this is resolved more quickly than our experience with an illegal garage in a residential area---took years and TWO interdepartmental interventions.

This non permitted business is still going on

This business is still blocking the roadway, parks on and blocks the sidewalk, cars leak oil everywhere

Why am I not surprized that the City has done nothing to take of this problem.
It appears that things are the same as what we dealt with years ago.
Same old; same old.

Chances are the City Attorney's office can't make comments about ongoing investigations or the business is legit and messy or possibly protected.

The Department of Public Works and the Department of Public Health have inspected the property. The owner was contacted and there is no evidence that he is operating illegal car repair at this location. The owner has cleaned the oil off the street and moved the vehicles. This issue is abated and will now be closed.
