Ditto Landing has so much potential for development . I feel this one of the most "forgotten" areas of the city. I would love to see some new interest in that area . A new updated master plan for the area would be nice . A few ideas that would be nice could include a resort hotel with a sand strip beach and pool. The hotel could have a dock that a Paddle Boat could depart from and take guests on a cruise down the Tennessee River . A restaurant would be a nice addition . There should be more effort in getting people to visit this area via Concerts by the River , Art festivals , Boat shows , etc. If the city could plant the seeds for a basis for development this place could be a gold mine for tourism for the city .
