Description
The view of the unsignalized crosswalk on Webster St at 22nd is blocked by the parking spot at the NW corner of Webster and 22nd. Cars and bicycles cannot see pedestrians entering the crosswalk, especially if there is a van or truck parked in this space. Figure 3B-21 of the 2009 MUTCD states that the no parking zone should extend 20 feet from the crosswalk to the last parking space.

Note the very short length of the red curb in the photo.

Thanks for reporting this, and I submitted an identical report back in October with no action taken yet (http://seeclickfix.com/issues/772843). In my report I also suggested an alternate but safer, unused curb location where this spot could be relocated so there would be no net loss of parking.
This section of Webster street is supposed to get some paving improvements and lane re-striping later this year, I believe. This seems like a great opportunity to move this dangerous parking spot, so please coordinate with the appropriate departments to integrate this request into the existing plans.
