Thanks for reporting this, and I submitted an identical report back in October with no action taken yet (http://seeclickfix.com/issues/772843). In my report I also suggested an alternate but safer, unused curb location where this spot could be relocated so there would be no net loss of parking.

This section of Webster street is supposed to get some paving improvements and lane re-striping later this year, I believe. This seems like a great opportunity to move this dangerous parking spot, so please coordinate with the appropriate departments to integrate this request into the existing plans.

Thanks Rob. I noticed this morning that they just put in the new high-tech parking meters along this stretch, and unfortunately didn't take any action on this.

Just went to check it out and nothing has changed. Please keep this issue open until the sight lines around the crosswalk have been improved per the request, which will hopefully happen soon.

It took 3+ years and dozens of emails to various city staff members, but this issue has finally been addressed as of this morning. Thank you to everyone who was involved with making this happen, it's simple but very well may save a life.

I went by this today, and for the first time was able to actually see the person trying to cross in the crosswalk! Thanks, DPW for (finally) getting this taken care, and thanks Robert for being so diligent!
