There are signs posted, and I do think it's obvious there is no left turn. But maybe the signs can be larger. I'd have to go back and see, but are they very obvious? Hey no excuses for the people turning even if they didn't see a sign, you hear the people behind them blowing their horns, the person should get a clue.
If this will go on for awhile, can they put a no left sign up by the light? I've never been behind a person trying to turn but see others held up every day... and that traffic backs up past Manzellas. And angry drivers having to sit thru another 2+ minute cycle of lights.
They should also keep an eye out for the brainless fools that blast through the Walgreen parking lot so they can make a left on Masonic. My guess is that they might catch some of the wrong folks doing the bad things and have to slap their wrists.
I agree with Walgreens at Masonic and Harper. They drive thru there so fast someone is going to hit someone walking in or out of Walgreens! And it hould be the citys fault!
I agree...there are clearly signs that indicate "NO LEFT TURN" from Harper. But, every time I drive that way, someone insists upon holding up traffic, even when we are all honking at them. Please...Please send a cop out there to watch the intersection. I know the city will make lots of money from the tickets they issue.
Frankly, I don't understand why people care so much about what other people do. Although I do follow all traffic laws, I don't care what other people do or who they drive. I figure that as long as it does not effect me, it's not my problem. The last thing we need is more cops giving out tickets to people who cannot afford them. I imagine that many of the people posting on here are a bunch of rich, self righteous retirees with nothing better to do than suggest an increase in tickets.
norcross, honest_abe nailed it. Besides, you have no idea WTF you are talking about, have not driven through that intersection lately, and did not read the posts below yours. The people making illegal left turns *are* affecting other people, holding up lines of traffic for entire light cycles.
