All Morris Cove needs inspection. The City said they were meeting on 8/7 and would post the paving schedule. Last year we were told Concord was getting done last summer. Where is the tax money going..to the roads around Smilow and Yale? Subcontractors? I am hearing from municipal workers they are being told to sit on their hands because the City has hired a firm to handle the "work" in the City. The same firm that was thrown out of Bridgeport for some unseemly handling of city dollars.
Come on New Haven....this area is progressively voting independent and are politically active young families and professional. I think you might find it helpful to take this area seriously. We are becoming more and more active. So there will be no expansion of Tweed, especially if the issues we are struggling with are not fixed. It is not even on the table.
I am unsure how ignoring the East Shore is going to help you in the long run.
