This area has a lot of almost accidents due to people stopping 50 + feet before stop sign or after another stop sign and going when it isn't their actual turn. This area is a mess during high traffic times.

I would suggest you take another route, if it's 'a mess during high traffic times.' Otherwise, here are some instructions for a 4 way stop! (From the PA drivers manual)
