Description
Since Brookland Pkwy was repaved- no markings were repainted for the two lanes travelling eastbound on Brookland Pkwy after crossing Chamberlayne and turning into one lane of traffic. The assumed merging area is just before Hawthorne to Moss Side. Some people are unaware of this merge and are startled by it and/or become aggressive and try to disallow the merge. Both situations are dangerous and capable of causing an accident.

I think I know what you are saying about merge lanes....Brookland Park was four lanes and but they haven't put the lines back.....I hope that remains two lanes. I hope that you are not asking for the City to make Brookland Park Blvd back into a 4 lane road.. The area from Moss Side down to Fendall was used as a race way, when it was four lanes.
So please leave that area as two lanes.....

Mary- We are on the same page and I agree with you. It makes sense to keep it one lane each direction from that point eastward. The ideal situation would be a bike lane. Each direction is wide enough for street parking plus a designated bike lane.
