Description

There has been significant build-up of sand on Rock Creek Trail due to recent flooding. Can this sand be removed? This poses a safety hazard for bicyclists who can lose traction on these stretches of sand covering the paved trail. One particularly unsafe stretch is coming down the hill from Calvert Street to the small trail bridge crossing the creek. I just had a bad crash at that very spot where I skidded out on the sand and collided with the bridge rail.
