Description

The timing of the traffic lights at this intersection is terrible. When you are on Bailey Blvd /Ginty Blvd you have a green light for exactly 5 seconds (yes I timed it). If the person in front of the line is paying attention you might be able to get 2 cars through before the light turns. I'm not a city planner or traffic engineer but is there a reason for such a short cycle? When you are on 125 you have a much longer time. I know the traffic on this road is a bit lighter than a main road - but having to wait 3 or 4 light rotations when there are only a few cars ahead of you is a huge waste and a big reason a lot of people use residential cut-throughs.
