Description

This residence is extremely negligent in disposing of their trash in an appropriate manner. They regularly leave trash, cardboard and other debris piled on the side of their house (Williams St.) for weeks at a time without taking the trash to the curb for pickup. When they finally do take the trash out, they leave the garbage cans in the middle of the sidewalk and do not store them away. For weeks now, there has been a garbage can in the middle of the sidewalk and other trash and cardboard piled up on the side of their house without anyone taking it to the curb for pick up. Unfortunately, it has become customary to see all types of trash (i.e. fast food cups, shopping bags, empty cigarette boxes, plastic bottles etc.) littering the side of this house (William St.) for weeks at a time. On occassion I have seen rodents in and around the area where the garbage is kept. This is unacceptable and poses a health and safety risk to the residents surrounding this property. There are many children that play on the block and I am concerned for their well being. As a longtime resident who takes a lot of pride in maintaining my own property, I'm sick and tired of looking at this eyesore. Furthermore, if everyone in the neighborhood maintained their properties in this manner, the town would be in very poor condition. This residence has a responsibility to dispose of their trash in an appropriate manner and maintain a level of cleanliness. The garbage can in the middle of the sidewalk also poses a danger to kids and people using the sidewalk. Please address this matter as soon as possible. Thank you.
