Description

Territorial Road is riddled with potholes, which, in places, span the entire width of the road, but the area between Carleton Street and Raymond Avenue is particularly bad, with numerous loose stones scattered across the road that have been knocked free from the potholes. Territorial Road is marked with signs in several areas that read "Not a Truck Route," yet 24/7 large semi trucks (often carrying train cars) and other heavy vehicles drive down this road, causing great noise pollution and damage to this road, which consequently needs to be fixed regularly. As a resident of this neighborhood for over ten years, I have become absolutely fed up with the noise and damage caused by these vehicles (many of which drive by at high speeds on a daily basis). Additionally, Territorial Road is not a safe road to cross as there are no signs enforcing pedestrian crossing areas, and because there are no stop lights, drivers often travel at accelerated speed down this road with no regard for those attempting to cross. Please enforce the "Not a Truck Route" policy and fix the damage to these roads as soon as possible. Thank you.
