Wow, usually shop owners loudly protest when anyone advocates the removal of parking for parklets, bike lanes, or transit. This is very interesting.

It is just one of the many locations that merchants use parking space as part of their shops without paying for parking fee.

There's a police satellite station in Chinatown. Perhaps a visit to them to complain would be appropriate as well.

I've been wondering about this, too. I emailed the Parking Enforcement Manager and the OPD problem solving officer for beat 3X, asking why this is allowed. I attached the photos.
