According to the radio, all street sweeping for priority and priority 2 routes is nearing completion. The Riverstone and Cobblestone areas have not seen any street sweeping to date. The priority 2 routes of 89 Avenue, 92 Avenue, and Willow Drive have not seen a street sweeper in years. The last time a street sweeper was sent out was after a complaint was made and the street sweeper was sent in the rain and promptly quit sweeping due to the rain and never ever returned, this was 2 years ago. It seems that these priority 2 routes are almost always overlooked for snow removal and street sweeping until complaints are made that despite their priority 2 status they are being overlooked; only once complaints are made are snow removal crews and street sweeping crews sent out. Please send crews to street sweep and sidewalk sweep 89 Avenue, 92 Street, and Willow Drive before crews make their way into the first residential neighbourhoods on the list. Please also do not forget to come back and street sweep/sidewalk sweep the rest of the residential streets, as well. Thank you.
