Description
Abandoned Couch Loveland Hill Road for weeks.
Rockville Reminder plows snow from their area on to sidewalk.
Sidewalk from high school to Rte.83 not plowed in some places making one walk in road.
Garbage being tossed from windows in side of road; especially when school in session.
Neighborhood once nice is sliding slowly downhill.

Hello!
This sounds like 2 issues wrapped into one.
To solve the snow removal issue, I would suggest a quick phone call or email to the Rockville Reminder. Here's a number and email address: (860) 875-3366; info@remindernet.com
As for the trash on the roadside, that's a tougher issue. It's likely a driver behavior problem - many many people seem to think it's OK to litter cigarette butts and other trash from their vehicles. But if you've witnessed high school kids dumping trash on the roadside, then I'd suggest two contacts for you:
1) The bus company is First Student and the office number is 860-875-2826;
2) Rockville High School, 860-870-6050; Eric Baim, principal
Good luck... let me know if you don't get a reasonable response.

Sorry, I missed the couch thing. That's the property owner's responsibility. Can you be more specific about the location of the couch?
I put in a call to the town about it and left a message for Peter Griffiths, refuse & recycling superintendent, about the couch. But all I could tell him is that it's on Loveland Hill Road. He's at 860-870-3500 if you'd also like to leave a message with a better location.
Thanks for trying to help keep your community clean.

Couch gone. Thanks. Not on a house property, there is an alcove that looks to be a pull in area that is sometimes used as a dump site. When walking by on 12/31 it looked to have been cleaned up.
Have lived here over 20 years and am seeing the neighboorhood in general looking a bit ragged. Have done all we can to improve our property. Sad to see other properties, once well kept, now becoming ragged as well
