Description

Some years ago, the parking on Trumbull St was restricted to one side of the street during rush hour (you couldn't park on the westbound side from 7-9 AM, and you couldn't park on the eastbound side from 4-6 PM, between the highway ramp and Prospect St). For some reason, at some point (before Ms. Harp was elected), this was changed and now people can park there any time. This results in a much worse rush hour. I can't imagine that the parking meter revenue generated during those hours is great enough to make up for the extra aggravation and emissions that are happening because of the change. Would it be possible for the city to reinstate the earlier parking time restrictions?
