Description
There is only 1 lane of traffic on this block of Orange in the direction Trumbull->Audubon. Despite a posted sign that school buses are not allowed to stop on Orange St., they routinely block the traffic there. (not to mention idling their engines) Backed up traffic can be forced into the Trumbull/Orange intersection causing problems there. Cars trying to overtake the buses are forced into oncoming traffic causing dangerous situations in the other direction of traffic. There is never any cop there to ticket the buses. Last buses I saw there were from Durham Public Schools. They are supposed to come in a wait/park on Audubon St.!

I have also had this problem. It is especially dangerous for someone on a bicycle.

Couldn't this be enforced with traffic officers? Can the city ticket its own drivers? The city should reexamine statutes to see if traffic officers (who are much cheaper to pay than police, and all revenue goes into city coffers) can ticket drivers who stop in inappropriate places, double-park, stop in front of the stop lines when reaching an intersection, etc.
