This broken concrete is from the construction on the burned building across the street on Park Street. Public Works has notified Planning and Building to put hold on permit at this location until the sidewalk is fixed. Public Works put up barricades and tape, but Planning and Building should check to be sure that they are still standing. Public Works has also written a letter to the Property Owner letting them know of the destruction and that they are responsible. If you have any questions, please call 747-6800.
Sincerely,
Gail Carlson

The Public Works Department has sent the Property Owner a Notice to Repair letter concerning the broken sidewalk on both sides of San Jose Avenue at this location. The Property Owner lives out of the state, so this process may take longer than normal. Furthermore, we are pursuing this matter through our City Attorney's Office.
Sincerely,
