Description

The large wood chips recently placed around the newly planted trees between West Prospect and Amity Rd. are not only an eye sore but are going to end up all over the streets. They will clog the sewer drains and will be an ankle twisting hazard for people unsteady on their feet. This large chunk mulch is also bad for wheelchairs, cyclists and strollers. This kind of "mulch" takes many years to break down and should be replaced immediately. Whoever chose this was looking for a cheap fix without thinking through the long term effects that large chunks of wood will have on our streets and sidewalks. Thank you
