Description

Tap water smells like dirt and frequently has a yellow brown tint to it. Visible tint in the water happens about once every week or so. Happens with cold water so it is not building or water heater related. Been going on for over a year.

There are clearly leaks in the municipal water supply pipes letting dirt in or maintenance going on that residents have not been informed about. I can only assume the dirt surrounding the water mains contains oil and chemicals from the street, pet waste, leaky sewage, etc...
