for the past few years, there has been a lot of radio interference in this area. I had compensated in various ways (using 3 wifi hotspots to cover a 1200 sq foot house, adding noise filters to my radio equipment, etc), but since the big ice storm we had a few months ago it has gotten much worse. even my home automation equipment (mix of insteon and zwave) won't function properly anymore. I have a feeling it has something to do with this hastily-repaired power line - my RF meter peaks right under it and there are times I can hear it buzzing even when it's not raining. I've heard complaints from neighbors about wifi and cordless phone issues. explaining this to peco hasn't been very successful.
