Arbor Ridge is self maintained. The City of Torrington has nothing to do with the roads. The homeowners pay a fee every year towards maintenance. The association handles all issues.
The homeowners assoc will not fix the road. There is no money . I'd think since the road is used by many people other than homeowners that the City might want to fix it. Plus it is devaluing all the homes on the street, reducing the tax base.
Does anyone know how to get the road fixed if the homeowners assoc won't fix it? They got a bunch of money from the builder for this, plus they collect dues every month, but they say there is no money to fix the road. What is the homeowner's recourse?
I cannot believe that nobody can even put a little asphalt in the big holes. They are just getting worse and worse. It will be 100% mud, dirt, and rocks by the winter. What is wrong with the Homeowners Association?
