Thank you for your reply, however I do not feel the entire issue was addressed. Yes, part of this is enforcement related, and we as community members can and will direct those issues to the appropriate agencies. But a just-as-important issue seems to be overlooked.... and that is the need for a public use sidewalk/ paved walkway along 116 Avenue leading to Copperwood Road. This road is highly travelled, both by residents of Copperwood, construction vehicles/ large machinery, and residents accessing the back part of Crystal Heights. There is also a RV compound back this way. Copperwood seems to be a forgotten community, but it is growing and with that comes a lot of traffic. There is no other way to walk/ bike out of this community aside from walking on the main roadway, which has a blind spot on the hill. Children can often be seen walking along and then crossing, obviously getting from Crystal Lake to Crystal Heights for school. Not too long ago, on a typical Sunday afternoon, an impaired driver travelling at very high speeds (100km+) travelled eastbound on 116 Avenue and crashed into the cement barricades at the end. There is an urgent need for a pedestrian/ bike path! Please help us get this done this summer, so we can get our children and families off of the road!!! Thank you!
