Thanks for your comment on this matter. We recognize this to be an ongoing problem for Rainbow Rd. The Windsor Police will address this issue and Rainbow Rd has been noted as an area of concern for traffic violations of speed.

Just a reminder that this site is intended to function as an efficient way to report issues to the town. It is not meant to function as a bulletin board. However, to clarify some facts, traffic tubes, digital speed display signs and extra police enforcement have been used in rotation continuously on Rainbow Road. The last time the speed signs and/or tubes were on Rainbow was in October. The tubes and signs are mostly retired for the winter and were just put back into seasonal service in May. Rainbow was this season's first deployment area, as Rainbow is a high priority for our traffic calming program. After our current deployment on Rainbow has completed, we will post more information about traffic stops, speeds, etc. here.
