I would have to get in my car and drive around the block and back alley (btwn 6 av and 15th street to 8th av and 14th st west) to try and identify where the barking is coming from - I suspect some dog starts it and sets off a few others in the neighbourhood. My argument is dogs in a city should be trained 'not' to bark unless there is a danger. To these dogs, danger is apparently everywhere. So if you can not keep the dog from barking when outside - go outside with them and stop them from barking, and when you go in, they go in also. It is profoundly unfair that all the neighbours are unable to sit outside and have a little peace. Expecting police and bi-law officers to force owners to think about other's is inappropriate, people are social animals too, we can be considerate of others without being fined first can't we?
